From a very early age, Dr. Anderson knew she wanted to be a doctor and, more specifically, a surgeon. After spending more than two decades working in academic and private practice settings, she has become one of the premier female plastic surgeons specializing in breast and body cosmetic surgeries in the Washington, D.C. area. With ongoing education, Dr. Anderson continues learning techniques and innovative new technologies that work best for her patients.
Dr. Anderson is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and she is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and she is currently practicing at McLean Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Anderson joined Expert Skin Solutions to continue a collaborative journey with LME, Ava, built on mutual trust, respect, and shared values. Having worked together previously, they developed a strong professional bond and a commitment to excellence. Both bring a background in teaching and share a passion for empowering others through education. Their shared dedication to delivering the highest standard of care ensures that every patient receives expert, personalized treatments in a supportive and innovative environment.
When she’s not growing her business, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her family. She is married to a cardiac surgeon and has four children and a Vizsla. She enjoys staying active with CrossFit and keeping up with her children’s travel sports. She enjoys cooking and excels at meal prep. As her children have gotten older, she enjoys traveling and sharing adventures with her family.
